Yes you are very lucky. All dogs have their own personalitys. Some will be sweet no matter what and some not. I love both female and male dogs just have found if you have more then one or 2 the males seem to get along better over all. That's not always the case though. You could end up with 2 males that hated each other and would try to fight. Right now I have 6 males and they all get along. Two females, I lost Sassy yesterday, Hershey will start fights and try to boss the other dogs. Cricket is almost 19 so she is fine. She is a Yorkie. Betty
