I have used some techniques from DW show. And it has worked! I work at a doggie resort, and it's a cage-free environment. There are a few aggressive dogs that bully and dominate other more mellower dogs. I have blocked the aggressive dogs from picking on the dogs who don't want to fight or defend themselves, it has worked. the the sound "shhhtt" gets their attention too... Cesar has a nack for doggie language - it's like, what do dogs do in the wild or in a pack? I didn't know much of this until I research on my own years ago b4 the DW was on. I train in obedience compitition, always open to different ways of communicating with not only my dogs but with other dogs as well. I have 2 Dobes, an Akita male and the 5 Chi's - all of them get along great! Figure I take what works best, and leave the rest behind. She uses positive reinforcement techniques. I occasionally watch Dog Whisperer but DO NOT like Ceaser's training techniques at all! He is too forceful and doesn't use much positive training.
