They eat rats in china also, mostly because their is a surplus of them, it stops the rats from eating grain, and it's protein. The majority of people in china are extremely poor. Most countries that are over populated, with extreme poverty, a government system that doesn't care about the people, survive by eating what they have available. I personally would not eat a dog. But I also, live in a country where I'm truly blessed and don't have to.
