What is a normal blood sugar for a chi.. I am diabetic and could check Tia's when she is shaking. And where is the best place to get a little blood from.. I don't want to stick her and then have to do it again.

If anyone was Diabetic around your house you could check her blood sugar yourself.
Since she has eaten well I would just watch her closely.
Praying for you,Mare

Ok everyone I gave Belle Nutri-Cal and fed her ham and she ate and ate--so appetite is good. I called the Emergency vet and the Doc was treating a dog and wasn't available. The guy I talked to said to monitor her. If she had hypoglycemia would she have a good appetite??

Do you have some nutracal?  I would give her some and wrap her in a warm blanket.  If it continues, I'd call an emergency vet and ask if you should take her in. Good luck.
