In the end you just have to do what you feel is best for your dogs. I won't use garlic just to repel fleas because it does not work here. And at this point I can't see any other benefit to giving garlic to a dog that does not need anything added to its diet. That is just my opinion though. If you feel it benefits your dogs and it is not harming them then by all means go for it.
