I have not seen snow on the ground for years and try to keep it that way.I hate
the cold.Every bone in my body hurts when i get cold.
Thats the reason I don't go with Bruce in the winter time.
Take the time today to be thankful for what God has provided.Trust that he will
supply your every need.Don't forget all that He has done for you.God bless you

And speaking of snow melt, there is a product out there that is safe for pets.
They sell it at Petco and Petsmart in the winter.  It doesn't melt the snow as
well as the regular stuff but it works well for traction and doesn't burn their
feet!

I live in the Midwest with very cold temps (sometimes below 0) with
snow and ice.

I tried to get Chico to wear the shoes and boots I bought him, but he
wants no part of them. So, I take him out in the snow (after I
shovel a path) to potty and he's fine. But, I always go out with him
and wait for him and of course put a coat on him and sometimes a
hooded scarf too when it's really cold and keep him out of the snow
melt that we scatter around to keep from falling.

footwear. I was thinking more of her being used to Florida weather
and this being her first real winter. And we have some nasty winter
weather not only being near Buffalo, but also on the lake. :/ I don't
want her feet freezing. :( For indoors I can put little socks on her
feet, but what about outdoors when I have to take her out to go
potty? But I also see why some would say it's best not to put shoes
on Chi's because their feet and legs are so tiny. :/ I'm completely
confused now.

what do you do for your Chi's feet when you take them outside? I'd
love any suggestions you have.
