I do understand Marsha.I know they love there dog's they have 3 more and they
are happy dog's.If she told me monday i could have got Dolly some pain meds.I
know she was in a lot af pain.My heart feels for them because I know they love
there dog's.I am making a headstone for Dolly now.We will have her grave next
to Gypsy.I just got back from there to ask her what she like me to put on
it.She told me she leave it up to me because I will find the right thing to put
on it.She likes Gypsys head stone.I made out of wood.I was living in the house
they live in now.We moved next door. She always lets me come over to tent to her
grave plus I can see it from my kitchen window. So i told her Dolly would not be
alone she hat her next to her. That made her smile. She did not think I would
like her to put Dolly next to Gypsy.I told her i would be very humbel to do
so.I'm not strssed out I just feel the pain for them.I feel very sorry for
them.

.

God bless you Brutus,Sissy and Claudia
Today,be patient.God knows your needs.Hi knows what's best for your life.

I am so sorry for their loss and for the stress it has caused you. I think
I view things differently than most here. First, I understand the
financial issues and the sometimes wait and see stance you have to take
because you can't afford something. But more importantly, here, I see
God's hand at work. See, I do not believe in putting an animal to
sleep...for any reason. I know alot of people would give me flack for
that, but it is how I feel. I feel that when the time is right for a
beloved pet to go to the bridge, God doesn't need any help from man. In
HIS timing is my phylosophy. This scenario would have worked great for
me......I would not have been faced with the agonising position of
everyone telling me the only humane thing to do was put my baby to sleep.
God took care of that himself. When I have a pet that everyone else feels
should be put down, what I do is ask the vet to give me whatever pain
medicine is needed to keep the pain down...doesn' t matter if the dose is
way too high if they are gonna pass anyhow....and then I pray for the
Lord's will and that he not let my baby suffer and that he give me the
stregth to deal with the inevitable loss. I know most people do not see
this the way I do. I simply can NOT take a life...any life. (I am a
vegitarian, refuse to buy animal skin, ect) BUT, regardless of how any of
us feel on this issue, I would beg everyone to keep one thing in
mind....we are talking about a pet that has been with this family for 15
years. They must have done something right along the way to have kept her
with them for so long. And after all these years, you know this family has
to be suffering a great deal. Now is when they need some
compassion.. .rather we agree with their actions or not, they are still
suffering and deserve our compassion and sympathy for their loss. JMHO
