rains A LOT. Kiko loves to walk, her favorite thing to do is to walk.
She does not play or do anything else. I have been trying to come up
with a good way to walk  her in the winter. I thought of a horse
arena, a shopping mall (they let people work out, but not dogs).

gets used to the motor sound??  Do I put her in front of me or behind
me???

Tredmill?

I used treats, I gave them a couple days to sniff it then I had them
on their leash and put them on it and started it on low then when
they got tthe hang of it I turned it up a bit, at first they were
really funny looking cause they weren't sure about it but now they
love it.. good luck with yours!!
