I hat this problem with Brutus anybody come near his blanket and hi went
crazy.I started out telling him no hi did not care. Then hi done it all the
time when you wanted to pick him up and so on.I finely every time hi did
growl at me I put my hand on him and leave it there to hi stooped. If hi bits
i putt him down and did not let him back on the couch to hi was nice.It
worked.I never been mean ore hurt him in any way.It tuck around a month but
it was worse it.Now i can pick him up when ever I want to.Bruce and Sissy
still can not go near him if hi is under the blanked.Sissy ignores him and
goes under it with him.Bruce just thinks its funny.Bruce lets them do what
they want anyway. So they don't listen to him very well. They do come if hi
calls them and that about it

Lift up our Eyes,Father, that we might see our world as you see it.Help us
respond as you respond to the hurt around us.
God bless you Brutus,Sissy and Claudia

Pop is 3 and still does that. We had trouble with him from the begining. I
believe that part of his problem was that his testicles never dropped and
cause pain so he didn't like being touched. There was a big improvement once
he was nuetered, but he still has a big attitude. Also he has...what do you
call it?... slipping knee. It will eventually have to be operated on, but as
of now, has only happened 5 or 6 times in his 3 years. Before he was
nuetured, he was so bad that I told my husband that if he were a big dog, he
would have to be put down. I mean bad! very violent, attacking and biting.
Now he's a love 95% of the time. Loves to be held and cuddled. And now when
he has one of his moments, he growls and acts like he's going to bite, but
only mouths. Of course, I am never mean to him, but I always insist on being
the boss and never back down from him or let him have his way when he acts
like that. Another thing I have noticed is that when he is on a blanket and
you try to pick him up he gets nasty, so I take the blanket away. That
upsets him, but he immediately cooperates with me. So maybe he is being
possessive of the blanket. I'm not sure. I am interested in hearing what
others have to say about this. Good luck.

Subject: [SPAM][Chihuahuas] New Behavior

My little guy is 6 months old. Recently he has started something new
that I am not happy with. When he is curled up on the sofa or bed and
I pick him up to move him he growls. I have been saying No and move
him anyway but I don't want him behaving like that. We always have
cuddled with him and he sleeps with us but maybe we have spoiled him.
Any ideas?
