Seizures seem to be common in chihuahuas. My mom had a mother son pair
that had them. The son has small one quiet frequently, the mother would
have grand mals about 3 times a year. It is very scary for both the chi
and the human and leaves the chi feeling worn out after it is all over.
Simply hold your baby or keep him where he can not fall and get hurt while
seizing, and give him time to rest afterwards. There is a medication that
can be given, but personally I don't think it is worth it to put a lot of
meds into them. I do not think they are in pain....just scared and tired
afterwards.
