A member of our Dogster's Service Dog group, which Pepper is on, was
involved in an accident today. A car was backing out of a parking spot and
Charger ( http://www.dogster.com/dogs/401677 ) went to back his handler
out of the way of the car, but the car was moving so fast that it struck
Charger. Charger was not killed by the accident, but it broke his spine
and two back legs and he had to be PTS. He goes to the bridge a hero
because had it not been for him, the car would have hit his person
instead. An SD who gave his life in the line of duty. Prayers for his
human please
