Jaelyn needs to be reassured of her place in the household. Help her establish pack dominance by praising her when she is well behaved around the fosters, absolutely refusing to allow the fosters to agitate her, make sure you spend special time with her alone, make a show of it as well. For instance..newbies are not allowed on the couch, but she is, ect...something that shows both her and the newbie that she is the top dog in the house. Never let the fioster eat from her bowl, play with her toys, ect. Think of the sitaution the same way you would if they were human kids and you have a bio child and begin fostering another child. Of course you want to make the foster feel at home, loved, ect, but at the same time, you want your own child to know he or she is special. Marsha
