Maybe try a water bottle ? Squirt him when he is barking with out cause?
However, as a Deaf person, I know how it feels when I am called down for
being loud when I don't realise I am....kinda hard to controle noise you
don't hear, lol. Maybe if he doesn't hear, he is feeling the sound of his
bark and it gives him comfort....I would take that into consideration.
