Some of you may remember that I wrote about Libby having her adult teeth and
her baby teeth at the same time. My vet would like to wait a little while
because of her small size. Well, this is just a little update. About a week
after I had written about this, I checked her and all of the puppy teeth except
the very front 2 were gone. I checked her pretty much daily and those stubborn
front 2 just kept hanging on. But at last.... they are now gone! I am thrilled
at this, because not only will it save on her vet bill, but most important, she
will not have to be anesthisized to have them removed. And as for her small
size... well, that little rolley polley is now tipping the scales at 4 pounds!
She could probably stand to loose about 6 or 8 ounces, but at her young age of
9 months, I'm not in a hurry to put her on a diet. But I have a feeling I will
be battling her weight in the future. My husband says that she weighs so much
because she eats rocks :) She doesn't really eat them, but she does like to
play with them, a habit that I'm trying to break.
