Use tea tree oil on your legs. If you're not familiar with tea tree oil, you
will be amazed by it. You should be able to get it at a pharmacy or health food
store. Bathe your chi with Dawn dish soap. Leave him lathered up for 5 or 10
minutes before rinsing. I keep rubbing and lathering to keep them warm while
waiting. The Dawn does just as good a job as any flea shampoo and not toxic.
It's really the lather that kills them or drowns them and keeps them from
jumping away. Use a flea comb to pick them off while he is lathered up and
again about 10 minutes after he is dry just to get the last of them. It's a
terrible battle and we've all been there so I sympathize with you.
Good luck,
Joy B

Subject: [SPAM][Chihuahuas] The FLEA saga continues need more advice
please....r/o

My flea problem continues. I feel so bad for my poor chi.Even tho I
treated him with frontline plus 2 wks ago(I found out from a friend who
works at a Vets office that you shouldnt treat your dog right after a
bath because the dog needs the oil in his coat in order for the
frontline to distribute properly)there was my first mistake. So my
second mistake was that i treated him again with frontline 3 days
ago, which i later found out could be toxic.Well he still has fleas on
him!!!I am going to use foggers tommorow and take him to a friends so
he will be safe.My question is????What do i do for my dog to rid him of
fleas?? I am washing all my clothes and bedding and will be vaccuming
and properly disposing of the filter. Please any help or advice will be
gladly accepted. On top of it I am bit all over my legs and am itching
like crazy!!! Thank you to all!!!
