Mare, when I checked with the vet I was told it could be used to dust on puppies, as well as around the house, I put some in a sock, put a knot on the top of the sock, and used it like a powder puff and dusted some on Cesar's body, legs, and "arm pits", I washed and dried his bed, then dusted it as well, and along all of the baseboards. It is quite a battle, but persistance will win. Ask you vet for his/her opinion before treating your dog again with anything other than a bath.
