Well everyone, Duncan has done it again! His broken leg was healing well. So
well that our little daredevil decided to slide his cast off of his leg! He had
to be rushed to the vet to have a fresh cast put on. And of course, he chose to
do this at nine thirty at night! So afterhours fees applied. It would have been
$29.50, but when you add $100 for afterhours visits...well there you go! I
swear, can't this boy get hurt in the daytime? The afterhours fees are killing
me...lol. But the vet said he was the best behaved chihuahua he had ever seen.
I was so proud of him. The whole fix took twenty minutes. It took the vet
longer than that to even get there! It took him thirty minutes to drive there!
$129.50 for a twenty minute vet visit. Wow he is turning out to be a very
expensive little boy! But he is worth every penny. Just wanted to update
everyone. I try not to post too often so that I don't bug people. My husband
says I tend to be high maintanence. So I
try to be low key. I realize that not every one has the time I do. I am a
housewife. My only children are my three chihuahuas. And I spoil them. I felt
terrible that Duncan went to the vet in his pajamas. I was too rushed to dress
him. But I did make him wear his raincoat and grabbed his favorite blankie, a
baby blue velvet and satin blanket that cost over fifty dollars. He loves it
though so it was worth it. I made Ozzy a hotdog costume for Halloween but
Sunday night my mother had a heart attack and was hospitalized so I am watching
her three chihuahuas as well as my three chihuahuas. Talk about a handfull! So
Duncan will be wearing a store bought Dracula costume. But he likes it alot.
And our pregnant Blue Belle will be wearing a red tulle dress and red fairy
wings. But Ozzy loves his homemade hotdog costume. He is wrapped up in homemade
love! I am so sorry that this post is so long. I promise to keep it shorter
from now on. Don't hate me! LOL!
