We have been going as slowly as possible. We are buying our house on land contract. We were lucky to find it for so cheap but truthfully, it is a hell hole, pardon the language. The floors are falling in, the roof leaks, the house is in general disrepair. So we are trying to make it into a comfortable and safe home. The chihuahuas are very tolerant of the mess and chaos. I will keep everyone as up to date as possible. Thank you all for caring.

The bathroom floor is being replaced so my dad ripped out the floor and joists. We have to put in new joists, subflooring and tiles. Then we have to put in a new sink cabinet and replace the toilet. To make things even crazier we have two new kittens only twelve weeks old. The chihuahuas think they are gifts for them. Dubh and Armani think the chihuahuas are their toys! The house is in a total state of change. Just a few months ago we were struggling to survive on my husband's disability for migraines. I'm trying to get my disability for back problems. So my husband took a job at Sonic to pay the bills. Nearly four months later he is no longer a cook but the first assistant manager and next in line for general manager when their gm leaves in a few months. He will be making around $35,000-$40, 000 a year. We were making less than $7,000 a year. Needless to say the chihuahuas are enjoying the new expensive clothes, toys and treats. For an early christmaspresent my husband bought an all new living room set. And he is updating every room in the house. Then he bought me my own desktop computer so I wouldn't have to share with him. So now I'm online alot more. I don't know why we suddenly became so lucky but I'm very gratefull. We have always tried to help others. We help rescue stray dogs and cats, we often have people sleeping over when they need a place to stay. When my mom and dad lost their house we moved them into our duplex with their three chihuahuas and their boxer. When my best friend's boyfriend moved from Florida we let him live with us. Over a year later and he still lives here in the spare room with his cat and his jack-a-poo, Winston. Sorry, I'm rambling again. I'm attaching a picture of Duncan in his dracula costume and Belle in her fairy costume. Keep in mind that Belle is very pregnant. She is huge! And she isn't due for another four weeks. Either she is having a large litter or very large puppies! I'll keep everyone informed. Also here is the hotdog costume. I made it myself. This is Duncan modeling it but Ozzy will be wearing it for halloween. Thanks again for hearing me out. Have A Beautiful Day, Each And Every Day! Change settings via the Web (Yahoo!
