My holistic vet recommended Merrick too, Gloria. She said it was human grade food and well balanced. I was getting to ready to stock up and did a little math on the cost. Given the size of my baby's consumption it was more frugal to make my own albeit a bit more work. I do keep it on hand for those days that I run out or get too busy.? I've gotten used to making a whole chicken (no spice) and eating my part doctored up afterwards.(spicy, onioned up or what have you).? I live alone so I guess it makes it feel like I am cooking for someone. (Gosh that makes me sound nutty LOL!!!)

Now that he's a big boy, he eats the Merrick Wilderness, which scored an A+.?
