Don't worry Arlene, Dora will be fine. I was really worried when Gizmo had to get neutered but he healed very fast. I understand that a spay is a bit more envasive than a neuter but she should do fine. The hardest part is keeping them quiet. Gizmo is very hyper and active and it was really hard to keep him from running and jumping for a whole week to 10 days! I just kept him in his x-pen or crate and only let him out occationally when I could supervise. I did this for about 6 days and his incision sight healed up nicely. Then I slowly let him play again until I was sure he could not hurt himself. Just keep Dora calm for a few days (I know it's hard but you can do it) and keep an eye on the incision sight to make sure it is not red or swollen. Like I said, she'll do fine and it will be over before you know it! Good luck! Stefanie
