What do you mean her mouth may be hurt? How? What meds did they give her? Keeping her wrapped up and warm will help plus just having her momma. She should be better tomorrow somewhat. It is hard when they are tiny like that but you did the right thing for her absolutely. As to how long to stay in the crate if you are home where you can put her in the pen and watch her close maybe that will give her a break? How bout tying a leash of a length of lightweight ribbon to your waist or hand and letting her be by you ,that way if she escapes the ribbon will tighten and you'll be alerted. I am so sorry she hurts. Maybe tell the vet and see what they say? I wouldn't take chances. Love and hugs,Mare
