You CAN teach him to put his toys in his tool box, Gloria!! Do you play
fetch with him? Have you taught him to drop the toy he fetched into your hand
when he brings it back to you? Have you taught him 'drop it'? If not, he
needs to know these things first. Once he has them learned VERY well, play
fetch with him while you are sitting next to his toy box. When he brings the
toy
back after you have thrown it for him to fetch, hold your hand, palm up, over
the toy box. Let him drop the toy in your hand (over the toy box) several
times. Each time he does it, say something like, "tidy up." You can say
anything you want - just keep it short. Then start moving your hand away so
that the toy falls into the toy box instead of your hand. It would probably
be
a good idea for you to name each and every toy. That way, later on, you can
say, "tidy up Bunny." He will then know he needs to put Bunny in the toy
box. Of course, his toy box will be need to be short enough for him to simply
walk up to it and drop a toy into it.

As you can see, teaching Cesar to put his toys in his toy box will be a long
process. But what a WONDERFUL way to bond and deepen your relationship with
him!!!! Quite a while ago, I learned a neat little tip when it comes to
training. See, training doesn't have to be an ordeal that's planned and
scheduled. In fact, that's not really a good way to do it. Training can be
done at
a moment's notice. The tip I learned was to train during tv commercials.
Just keep a covered bowl of treats handy - on the coffee table or end table.
Well, I hope this helps!!

The do like to throw toys all over the room/house. Yesterday, Cesar gave me
a good laugh, he was running around with one toy or another in his mouth and
dropping them all over and picking up another. Then he ran to his toy box,
dropped the toy he had in his mouth into the box and picked up another one.
I laughed, because I have often wished I could teach him to pick up the toys
and put them back in his toy box. LOL.

Miss Dora is a blessing to my house hold, she gets me laughing so
hard i cry. she is full of mischief. she got hold of a roll of paper
towels and shredded it all over my office. She spreds dog toys all
over my house. she is a holy little terror to my poor deaf jimmy. he
hate her to touch him and she makes sure she does. She has got my poor
old fat pom pom to play with her and he is so happy. Jimmy plays with
her to.

You guys did not tell me how much fun a chi puppy is or how much work.
She really is a joy.
