Subject: [jumpinjacksToo] Omni Shoreham Hotel Package Giving Away Puppies!!!

The Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington DC has created a package for the
Inaugural Celebration this January. One of the items in the package is:
-- Presidential puppy of guests' choice upon departure
It has been confirmed that the hotel is in fact giving away live puppies and
not a stuffed animal. If you would like to express your opinion on this to the
hotel you can call Paul Sharp at 202-756-5112 [EMAIL PROTECTED] com or the main
# at Phone: (202) 234-0700.
They are in fact including a puppy as part of the hotel package. Depending on
what type of dog the people want, they will go out a find a puppy for them (wow
I am thinking buying dogs at a pet store which we know will mean
supporting puppy mills.) Mr. Sharp sees nothing wrong with including a puppy
as part of the hotel package since Omni supports charitable organizations.
I am so offended that Omni hotels is doing this and all the implications it
represents. This guy just does not get it. He thinks because he owns a dog,
he knows and all it ok.
Please contact Paul Sharp and The Omni and let them know this is not how a
family makes the important decision to bring a dog into their lives.
