Thanks. Elizabeth, I too believe the puppy of my dreams is out there. You might know, since I am looking for a little girl, I have seen twice as many males as females advertised. I might just have to start looking at the little boys too, they also cost less. I talked to Marsha about the puppies I've been looking at and she can't believe the prices. The price for a tiny female in the 3 to 4 lb range is anywhere from $500 to $2,800, with the average price probably around $900. Then, if you have to add shipping, at $275 - $300, you are looking at a major purchase. I thought that at my age, if I want one, I better get it now while I can still enjoy it and even more importantly, keep up with it! Gloria P In a message dated 12/7/2008 6:47:02 P.M. Hi, Gloria, Your puppy is out there. You just weren't meant to have that one! I was going to a breeder to get a half brother of my first boy. But.....then a police officer friend of mine went on a puppymill raid with the ASPCA. There was a little male chi pup that needed a home. I took him! Wasn't what I thought I would do, but I truly believe he was meant to be with me. Your dog is out there, but you just don't know where yet!
