Things worked out great... last night before going to see her I checked the mail and there was a card from a friend with money in it. We had loaned money to this friend a while ago and figured we would never see it again. What great timing.
Anyway we went to see her... a 45 mins drive from our home. When we got there, we walked up to the door, rang the bell and both my hubby and I started laughing. We know we were at the right house, you could hear her barking inside. She took to both of us and our youngest son (will be 11 in Jan) right away. On the way home we stopped by the pet store and picked up a new pink collar, name tag and a silver and pink gem stone charm for her collar. My hubby found the charm, it is soooo cute. Of course we also got a couple of new toys. Right away we put on the new collar and now she will not let me take it off... LOL. After getting home we though it would take a little bit for Chip and Dale and her to warm up to each other but it didn't. The three of them got along right away without any issues. She also took right to our oldest son (age 15). She spent the evening wagging her tail and playing. I think her tail was going 100 miles per hour and still hasnt stopped. At bed time she wanted her crate but we had her come to bed with us and within mins she was sound asleep in the puppy pile... LOL. I really think she is happy. And of course we are all happy she joined our family. I will try to post some photos of the three of them asap. I guess the saying is true you cant stop at one...
