I sure do miss talking with you on the phone. I'm so very sad you are back in the hospital again!!!! Your doctors MUST find out what's causing you so many problems!! To be honest, Claudia, I'm not doing too well. This damn cough just won't go away or even get better. It's kind of strange. In the past when I've had colds or the flu or other illnesses, I always felt worse as the day went on. But this time, my mornings are the worst. As the day goes on, I feel a little better with each passing hour. Then a few hours before bedtime, it all comes back. Then it's hard to get to sleep. I'm sure eating nothing but rice, ice cream, and a little boiled chicken now and then isn't helping with trying to get better. I want so badly to go to the ER to get my gall bladder removed, but I can't go as long as my lungs are compromised with this bad, bad cough. I had planned on trying to go to the ER a week or so before Thanksgiving, but that's when I got sick. I was so looking forward to having a Thanksgiving dinner (even if it would have been just me and my precious Katie). It would have been my first Thanksgiving dinner in 11 years - that's how long ago my gall bladder attacks began. Now I'm really wanting to have my first Christmas dinner in 11 years, but it won't happen if I don't get well SOON. For those few hours when I feel halfway decent, I try to do a little housework, play with Katie, etc. I am soooooo far behind in my emails!! I promise to get to them as soon as I can. I haven't forgotten about the pages I'm supposed to be doing for you, Connie. I just haven't felt good enough to do them. And I will back to you soon about the troubles you are having with the lesson, Arlene. There's other posts I've wanted to respond to also - I will when I feel better.
