Hi, Connie! I have my vet do it every five weeks or so, I also have their anal glands expressed at the same time! I dremel the nails in between, since we need them short and smooth for therapy dog work. I don't mind the cost since my vet always give them a little check up too and can catch anything that might be "brewing"!!
