You do sound like me.I don't buy furniture i collect them side the road ore give away.They make paint and stain and they all new to me.They say we going to be cold tonight 19 windchill 8 it's been in the 60 the last day's.I know Brutus and Sissy are not going to go out.Poor Dora,this happen to Brutus last year the wind tuck him all a cross the street.Now if it is windy Brutus will not go out warm ore not.I wish I could been there to see Trinca,at hat to be funny.Have fun. (OT) Hi everyone~~~Dave and I just got home a few minutes ago~~~I had to write you guys a quick note! I was reading email earlier...and some woman posted a queen size Queen Anne 4 poster bed on freecycle to give away~~~I emailed her within 6 minutes of her placing the ad. I figured it would be gone because I didn't hear back right away...I told her we wanted it...well... no I didn't...I asked if we could have it..THEN I asked Dave if we could go pick it up.haha...he gets aggravated with me sometimes because I collect cookbooks... and if I see any in freecycle I ask for them...then he has to take me to get them...ANYWAY. ..we've both wanted a 4 poster bed for a long time. It's BEAUTIFUL! It's just the head board....foot board and side rails....it' s dark cherry! Merry Christmas to us~~~haha... .I can't believe I've had such a good day...the whole day has been great! Except the weather...it' s very nasty here...it's FIVE DEGREES out side and VERY windy...they said it's about 20-30 BELOW zero with the wind chill...needless to say Sox and Dora aren't going out tonight! I'll put down newspapers or something.... and if they miss...I have a carpet shampooer. This is kinda gross...but funny...well. ..maybe you had to be here to see it...but take my word...it WAS funny...Poor little Dora was trying to take a pee outside earlier in the day...we've had high winds all day...but much worse now...the Chihuahuas are so light they don't even make an impression in the ice...we have ice with a tiny bit of snow on it...anyway. ..she was standing there and all of a sudden a big gust of wind came and blew her right off her feet...she fell on her side...that' s when I decided they aren't going outside anymore tonight. Then Dave took Trinka out...the German Shepherd puppy...and she's getting really big...she was running real fast and went to run around the truck....she fell on her side and slid for about 8 feet. We take her to a field next to the garage where she can run and stuff..and there's a hill there...well. ..for some reason she decided she wanted to go to the bathroom while she was standing on the hill...hahaha. ..she kept sliding down it.....it was like an all day cartoon around here today! So far no humans have fallen! That I know of...OH...a woman from my mom's church fell on the ice last night and broke her neck! I forgot about her. They took her to one hospital...and had to transport her to another. I haven't heard anymore yet. Dave and I went about 18-20 miles one way to get the bed tonight...the roads were bad...in some places it was snowing...but it's bitter cold no matter where you are here. I was glad to get safely back home. We hardly have any snow at all...but LOTS of ice....some places it's about 2 inches thick~~ok... my sister and brother in law are stopping in for a little bit...so I better go....I just had to share my news about the bed...it might be used...but it's new to me...and beautiful!
