I do not like to keep mine any longer than 8 to 10 weeks than I have too.
They are way past nursing, momma is getting tired of them, and the older
they are, the harder it is to adjust to a new home. You all do realize that
12 weeks is 3 months right?
===========================

I for one realize that and I disagree with you. They need the socialization
and the things a mother dog teaches them. The smaller the dog the longer
they should be with the mother. I have not see anything to prove that it is
harder for them to adjust at 12 weeks than at 10.
