There isn't much that can be done if the thinnning hair is due to true alopecia...but, alopecia is not realy a health concern....it is more of a cosmetic concern...it won't hurt them and is not the cause of any itching ect that is often associated with it.....if the dog is itching, ect it is saused by something other than the alopecia.....and someone else asked if all blues had alopecia and the answer is definitely not,......
