I have decided that my couzin is a true christmas scrooge.  The family is so
angry at me that it is ridiculous. I had to do a terrible thing today. I called
the police and had my couzin arrested. I had told all of you some time back
about her problems and the family's insistance that I was a terrible person for
not supporting her and buying lavish presents. My husband is an ex navy seal.
We took his christmas bonus and donated food and toys and toiletries to a
spouse abuse shelter. It was amazing to see these women and children, with no
homes of their own, laughing and smiling. To see a simple tube of chapstick
make them so happy. To see dollar tree toys so eagerly recieved. I came home
grateful that I had a happy loving home where I was safe and loved. We were
home for a few hours when she came to the house. When we refused to let her in,
it was obvious she was drunk, she threw a rock through the living room window.
I was shocked as she stood at the
broken window screaming and threatening. My poor little chihuahua Ozzy was so
scared but then she started throwing things at me and he got so angry. He
lunged at her, I had to struggle to hold him. He was so intent on protecting me
that he stepped on a piece of glass and didnt even realize he was hurt. I had
to press charges. At least in jail she cant get drugs or alcohol. I rushed Ozzy
to the vet and the officers were kind enough to give us an escort and to say
with us til the vet got there. The vet said he was fine and didnt even need
stitches. By bedtime I had to turn off the phone because the family was calling
telling me I was a horrible person. But I stood by my decision. Then her mom
showed up at the house. I thought that another fight was about to start. But
she shocked me. She brought a bag of treats for Ozzy. Then she hugged me and
thanked me. She said now my couzin would have to face the truth and get the
help she needs. I just wanted to say
thank you to everyone on here. You told me to pray for her and refuse to baby
her. I couldnt have stayed strong without all of you. Happy new year to all of
you.
Have A Beautiful Day, Each And Every Day!
