Well, if they technically don't growl, they surely make a nasty noise that
sounds like one. I hear it all the time if my cats are upset at one of my
chis.  I have seven, so between me and Sharon we have 15 cats that DO growl!

i missed the dog one but the cat one was on and i watched it.   that was
interesting  learned that cats cant growl. didnt know that  i could have
sworn my mothers cat growled.. it made some sound and it wasnt a purr. it
attacked me once because i hit my sister.  crazy cat.
