Beth - Innova is a very high quality food - they offer dry and wet.
Natura makes Innova and California Natural which I feed my pooches.
Just google Natura, they make all their food here in CA. Check em out!
It's not a prescription food.

Yes Smidgy is constpated too, that is why I started the olive oil, I read it
can help.
Is Innova a perscription dog food ? Not sure I have ever heard of it ?

Well, I changed Pixie's diet on my own because she was a little constipated
eating Royal Canin. So now she is on Innova and so far so good. I had to take
her in the shower with me every day to wash her area and press very softly on
the area to exspell the tar like substance. It hurt her a little but I was very
gentle not to hurt her. It was pretty gross but I had to do it. SHe still has a
scar from it. It burst through her anus so she had two holes. It is healed now.
Poor thing. I just kept it clean and made sure that she kept up on the
antibiotics and she is really good now. Eveyn

Oh that makes me feel so much better.. Yes we have the 1st appt on Saturday
morning..
Due to my work that is as soon as I can get her in. Smidgen seems to be in some
pain, but she is eating and drinking.. Did your vet have you change Pixies diet
?
Since this happen a month ago, I have been putting a table spoon of olive oil
with her food.

That is how is started with my Pixie. It started on one side then went to the
other. The vet didn't seem too worried about it and certainly didn't make is
sound like she would die from it. I definatly think you dog should see a vet

Smidgen had a ulcer about a month ago, and it went away with in a week, now
another one has come back on the other side to where the other one has.. I am
sick with worry for her. I don't want to lose her.. She is my sweet angel..

My sweet girl had this. It was bad for about 2 weeks or so. The vet gave her
antibiotics for 2 goes before it went away. He said if it didn't go away, he
woul give her laser surgery to remove the glands. This was about 6 months ago
