We are investigating the relationships people have with their dogs. With the ever growing numbers of family types, including single, married, same-sex, multi-family, and step-parent households, we would like to examine the roles dogs fulfill in a variety of family situations. We hope to measure relationships in a few areas, including attachment and investment, and how people generally feel about dogs. Our study consists of a questionnaire, which takes approximately 5 minutes.
