Most hydros do not make it this long. She has a very mild case, but vet still insist that eventually she will start seizing when the preasure builds up too much and that once the seizures start, it is only a matter of time. I know one other person who had a hydro that lived to be two but that is a realy long time for a hydro. I've had them before and usually loose them around 5 weeks old. I think one of the things that is helping Heidi is that the fluid seems to be draining from her eyes. Her eyes are always extremely watery and I oersonally think that is what is happening...the fluid is draining via her eyes and therefore is not building up as much on the brain. Ofcourse the vet thinks I'm nuts :-) Marsha
