well i never house that many at a time... i raise family pets that are show quality and breed . and keep them forever. you might consider switching the breeding females to raw during breeding and through whelping...id feel lucky talking about feeding chi's you can feed a lot of chi's on what I'm feeding 3 danes ...lol...what a raw meaty bone can do for the teeth and mouth health is a mind blower and worth the effort alone..i didnt switch my oldest dane till she was 5 . she had yellowing teeth from sugery kibble. within 6 months on raw her mouth looks like a 6 month old pup... . not to mention how a raw diet cuts down on the amount of poop, water consumption, vet care, cuts out disease, skin issues, hot spots, yeast infections, kidney and liver disease.. i could go on... in vet care alone its worth it... ill never feed kibble again even if i was feeding 20...my friend and i formed a co-op in a tri-state area for buying power and now are getting ground fatty beef for .75 lb!! its 225. in wal-mart! chicken backs and quarters for .49!lb ...so the main diet is quarters and backs with a meat ball a day of beef... liver once a week in a meat ball ....easy peasy... this baby eats like 3 tablespoons a 24 hour day. and I'm buying meats in 40lb cases...
