I do rescue for Boston Terriers and French Bulldogs. Yesterday two teenage boys
came into Petco with a 4-5 week old Chi puppy.Very distended tummy most likely
full of worms.
Treating these tiny pups is fearful. I hate to recommend a dewormer since most
barely weigh a pound or they're too young. Can anyone tell me how old and how
much it should weigh before the owners can safely worm their puppies?
I know it's always best to take them to a vet but a lot of customers are not
going to follow my recommendation.
Which dewormer is best for these tiny puppies. Is it better to follow the age
or weight recommendation?
