Nugget is the holder of my heart and while I LOVE all my pack, Nugget is my heart-dog...he holds all the heart strings!!! He is so in tune to my sadness...my joy...my excitement...my worries...Nugget has been through so many things with me...by my side without waiver for 6 months of Hospice in our home as my Brother-in-law went to be with Jesus in our livingroom, ...watching my sons make many, very dangerous life choices and weeping with me as we suffered the results of those choices...the birth of 3 grandchildren...heartbreak in my marriage...forest fire evacuations...deaths...illness...Nugget has been by my side...on my lap...and comforting me through all of it! There is no doubt that the Lord gave me Nugget for so very many reasons!!! He instinctively knows exactly what I need and when!!! So...it is very fitting that I celebrate his special day by sharing it with all of you...by announcing his special day to those that understand the depth of a relationship like I have with Nugget. I have not decided how Nugget and I will celebrate but we will do something special...just he and I...because that is how he would choose for it to be celebrated!!!
