I haven't had to use it in years but once when I had lots of fleas in the yard and on my dog, I used it as I've described and it helped get rid of the fleas. I can share with you that changing all my pack from kibble to a raw diet of 80% raw high quality meat, 10% raw organs and 10% bone has changed dry skin, whimpy coats, bad breath, plaque filled teeth, attitudes, stools, itchy-ness, many other health issues as well as greatly improving my poodle's seizures. Almost any of the things mentioned have become a complete non-issue...sparkling white teeth...great coats...no itchiness...perfect stools...etc. For fleas I would bathe often in a very mild shampoo...use a conditioner and then a good ole-fashion flea comb to pic them off on a regular basis.
