Emiliano came to me at 8 weeks (the vet thinks he was younger) with  
Giardia.  At the first visit to the vet, he weighed a half a pound and was  put 
on 
special food and medication.  The next day he crashed on me and  spent 3 
days in intensive care.  Now, at 21 mos old, he weighs 5 lb 13 oz.  and is 
full of life.   I am going to look for the article I wrote for  Chihuahua 
Connection magazine.
