I used a box that is specifically designed to be a dog potty
box...Petsmart I think...the front is cut out low so even the
tiniest Chi's can get in

whats the best box? a cat box is too deep for my pup...how do i get
her to jump in? lol... just putting the pee pad there? i found a
litter thats ground corn cob fine ground not the rough ground..what
do you use?.

Hi Gloria, Thats what we do too...both Chi's use their potty box
when I am not home. I just moved the pads into the litter box to
make the transition to a box...I want to eventualy use a system like
the Potty Patch. How is your litter box set up? Do you use the
pellets or pads or??

Welcome. Are the other dogs all indoor dogs? How are were they
pottie trained? She'll probably learn qucikly from them. My little
guy was trained to use a litter box when I am gone and to go outside
when I am here to let him out.

I have just gotten my firt chihuahua, actually she is a rescue from
a kill shelter in Texas...i usually do boston terriers but they
asked me if i would take her as my son has been bugging me for a
chihuahua..so we picked her up from transport yesterday and she is
so scared i feel bad for her...im just concerned my dogs will hurt
her...i had just gotten a foster boston terrier last week which my
dogs are all getting along my foster boston trys to be very
dominate , tryin to hump and all...the chihuahua is growling and
showing her teeth...i know it will take time....just afraid she will
get hurt cause she is smaller then the other...I have 2 boxers a
male and a female a male boston and my foster female boston and now
the female chihuahua...just lookin for anything I can do to make
everyone happy and no one get hurt. Thanks for all the info. Anyone
looking for another chihuahua she is availble for adoption...she is
a creme and white color very cute and very sweet onc e she gets to
know you. Oh and how do you guys handle potty training...do you wee
wee pads or take them outside...i found out she wasnt walked only
used wee wee pads after i walked her countless times only for her to
go in the house.
