> As every one else has stated, chi ears usually play a yo yo game. I LOVE this time period....every day waking up wondering if it is gonna be an up day or a down day...a right ear day or a left ear day, lol. Eventually, they should stand permanantly, of course. Some chis could take as long as 2 years, but most will be up by a year anyhow. Look at the parent's ears...are they up or down? That will often be a good indication of the pups future...not always, but often. But, if the ears have ever been up, they most likely will eventually stay up. So if today the right ear is up and the left is down and tomorrow, vice versa, then you can pretty much rest assured that eventually they will both go and stay up. If the tips are never fully up at anytime, there is a good chance that even as an adult they wont fully stand..... MArsha
