Another suggestion I have is to use a word for his bathroom, I use "potty potty" so in the beginning I always said good girl for Potty potty, now I just ask her if she has to potty and she runs to the door. I also gave her freeze dried liver treats each time she went in the first few months but not anymore. You will learn when he has to go they all have their little clues.
