Deanna, Sounds like we do have a lot in common, I had forgiven him in the past when he had an affair with I was pregnant with his son and gave me a venereal disease - but my best friends who was like a sister to me. I could not get over that as I loved her so much. They got married and several years later she developed a liver disease that she passed away from a couple of months ago. She had a long 10 years of suffering, where she pooped all over her-self. She knew she was dying and I always thought that she might reach out to me and as for my forgiveness before she left this earth - but she did not believe in God or have any type of faith. But had she asked for forgiveness I would of given it to her as I had to forgive her and him to move on with my own life. But it still haunted me and I still have nightmares over it. She did many terrible things to me that hurt me deeply, my son who played for the Dallas Cowboys when he got drafted she had a shirt made that said my son is #86 and it was a cowboy shirt and we lived in the same town. But I am happy for you as throwing away all those years for a stupid mistake is not a good idea and you can enjoy your grandchildren together. I have never been at a place to want to get married again, I have been asked several times but I could not trust again and decided to dedicate my life to being a good mom to my kids, being a GREAT grandma and loving my animals. I too had a terrible childhood, my mother was an alcoholic and my father molested me once when I was a teenager. But I cared for my mom when she was dying from cancer and she had gotten sober 5 years prior to her death and I loved her. Now my father has Alzheimers and I am in charge of his care and his estate since his wife passed away who would not let me Dad see us for the last 30 years. So I get to take him to the Dr. and on outings and pay his bills and do all those fun things. But like you - I do have a man in my life and that is my Lord and I know he loves me and has always provided for me. I know that I am learning valuable lessons that I will use when I am in heaven. I believe this is just a passage and we all are here for our lessons and gifts. I feel blessed that I have my children, grandkids, my animals and some very dear friends which is more than most people have. The only time I was really angry at God and had a hard time was when I lost my little Sami at age 2 - I got his just as I was dx with pheripheral neuropathy which is very painful and he was my world, I felt like everthing that I loved was taken from me my whole life. But that too has passed, I know I will see my baby again and I have my little Abbey who is so joyful and in a few weeks I will have her sister. I so feel like a new mommy and I am so excited. I have had so much fun shopping and getting her matching dresses for her and her sister. I got them a beautiful pink micro suede car seat for two, baby toys. The breeder says she is one of the most delightful puppies they have ever had and I know that she is meant to be mine. I have so enjoyed talking with you and I hope that we can meet someday. Have a wonderful night. Nancy and girls,

I almost lost my guy last year...actually it was one year ago in August I found out he was having an affair with a Nurse at work. It was horrible!!! There is nothing worse...so I know a little bit about your pain. It still hurts...so deep sometimes I can't breathe!! We were able to work it out because the Lord gave me the strength to stick it out and because he re-dedicated himself to me but everyday for a long time was so VERY hard...still is...it is very hard for me to trust anyway because of my childhood...my Mom left our family when I was 10 for an affair with our next door neighbor and then my Dad dumped us at my grandparents house because raising 2 kids was way too much for him. So I always had trust/abandonment issues! Then...when I finally got comfortable and started trusting my hubby...WHAMO!!! After 29 years of marriage. It is getting better though because no matter what I know I have the LORD who no matter what will never leave of forsake me!!! I get strength from HIM everyday!!! He can restore what the locusts have eaten!!! Even though my situation isn't exactly like yours it is yet something similar we have in common and I REALLY can relate to what your babies mean to you! I know for a fact the Lord gave me my animals for healing and for joy. They were there for me in ways no other human could do! Grandkids are awesome too!!! I have 4 soon to have 5 in a few days!!! She prances and struts around like the little Diva Dog she is. My husband always rolls his eyes and asks if she hates being treated like a doll. I told him it's her or him who gets dressed up. He shut up. Rylee
