Hi my name is Roxanna, my little Muffin is a 3 1/2 yr old Chihuahua/Papillon
mix who was diagnosed with IVDD back in June.She had 2 ruptured disc with
calcification on 2 disc. She did eight weeks of crate rest w/meds & is doing
extremely well now, pretty much back to her old self. But we do have to
somewhat limit her activity now.
The problem is, she gained almost 2 pounds during her crate rest period & being
over weight will not help her back issue. I am trying to find a good/healthy
dog food to feed her, that will help her lose the extra weight. Any help/advice
from other Chi parents would be greatly appreciated.
