Eileen, my sympathy. I husband died unexpectedly seven years ago, he was only 69. We had been married for 45 years. It is a the deepest hurt I have ever experienced. You have a right to mourn and grieve for him, so do it. Everyone told me how strong I was, but no one knew my pain and the nights I spent wailing in this empty old house. However, I also knew that life goes on and you can't allow yourself to get stuck in that stage of mourning.
