Hi
I do understand that. I do know that walking Ricky has helped him see the world and people. He has gotten better around people for the most part. depends on the situation. I make sure I have control of him always when outside. (harness & leash).

Please be aware of blanket statements. Most dogs are under exercised but a lot of people when they read things like that tend to believe that exercise is the cure for all. If the underlying aggression is there exercise wont cure it. I know I am in the minority on this list about Caesar and that is fine.  One thing I do know though is that he has been re looking at some of his methods and that makes me feel so much better! He interviewed and spoke with these positive trainers and actually says they taught him something.. So glad

Hi

I went to Ceaser Millans website and looked up dog aggression. He said that most dog aggression, can be lack of excersize! I do walk Ricky about 6 times a day, but its only around our complex. I need to take him to a park and walk daily.

Loose Leash Training
Walking is a great activity for both you and your dog, and it's much more fun when your dog can walk nicely on a loose leash. Learn how to properly leash train your dog.

Introducing a Dog to the Leash
Before your dog can be trained to walk on a loose leash, he must be introduced to the leash. Even some adult dogs have very little or no exposure to a leash and collar, particularly strays.

Breed of the Week: Saint Bernard
Saint Bernards are massive dogs with even bigger hearts. Though they still have the ability to be excellent working dogs, Saints are typically seen as gentle, lovable family companions.
