Hubby and I decided to take little Paco to the vet, because first just for a
check up and trying to look around for a trusting vet to go to and plus Paco
was displaying some sneezing and coughing.
Paco was the perfect little angel, until he felt violated. They took his
temperature. He was real friendly to everyone and let everyone pet him.
During the whole vet visit when I or my husband left to speak to the
receptionist or doctor, Paco would go crazy and start chasing us around, like
hey were you going and it was like he was like you can't leave without me. lol.
Anyway, we went to the vet and the vet said he had an upper respiratory
infection and his fever was above normal. So the doctor advised us that it
could go away on its own or he could take antibiotics to help it go away faster
and also suggested that it be a good idea to put him on antibiotics so it won't
get worse and it would be harder to treat.
So Paco is taking his antibiotics. He's really good with it too. I give it to
him with his treats and it goes right down. Which I'm glad, I've had other
animals, that couldn't take medicine for anything and it was real hard to give.
I'm hoping that he gets better real soon. Any tips from anyone that could help
him get over this respiratory infection quicker. Do I need to keep him inside
more or just keep him bundled up. He loves being outside is what gets it so
hard to keep him inside a lot. He likes to go outside and run around and roll
around in the grass and chase bugs lol.
