That is pretty awful. Going through a divorce is bad enough and it is difficult to think straight. But it wasn't your fault, try not to look back it only makes you sad again. Sometimes animal control can be on the wrong side of the law, they should never have done that. Sorry..

This was before the movie where everyone was getting them and then giving them away - like Beverley Chihuahua's (I think that is why there are so many chi's at the pound right now). I named her Arizona as My son went to U of A. She was a wonderful dog and gave me 14 years of love and fun. I was younger then and we would roller blade together and hike all over and go to the beach. So remember just like Chi's who have sometimes been given a bad rap - all breeds can become wonderful if you love them and learn what their needs are.
