I really think there is a window of time when nuetering works to curb marking. Mouse, my Chi is now 6...he was fixed before the age of 6 weeks..imagine??? Not my choice or doing...he came that way! He marks...he always has and he has never learned not to...trust me we train on it still...but Mouse wears belly bands which finally solved it!! When I was breeding poodles and as I chose to no longer use a male for whatever reason, I would have them fixed. If they had a "career" of more than a few litters...they had a real hard time stopping the marking. And Poodles are one of the easiest dogs on the planet to train! So...if your guy has been "used" for awhile it may be tough for him to stop. Having the girls fixed too will help him a lot. The female's pee will change a bit after being spayed and will not give off the same chemicals to intice him. Get some belly bands to use for awhile...I really fought the idea...who wants to change a belly band...but...Mouse can stay here forever because of them!!! My Husband think we should just fix Mia . he afraid fixing Rocky will change his personal ate and he will still mark in the house. so I want to know if you fix a male dose it stop them from marking in the house. I want to fix all three seen I already have three beautiful baby that are very loved (my family say spoiled.) what do you think. what best .
